Summer Sun

As the warmer weather approaches so does the desire to spend more time outside.

Just a few reminders for some sun safety. Always choose a sunscreen at least an SPF of 30 .Our Ultra Light Sunscreen is a SPF 50. The other thing your sunscreen should be labeled as a broad spectrum. This will give you a complete coverage. Sunscreen should be put on 15 minutes prior to going outside and reapplied every 2 hours more if you are in water or sweating.

Relying on your foundation or foundation primer to give you all the coverage you need for the day is not enough. If you are going to be spending time outside please use a sunscreen in addition to the foundation primer plus and one of our broad spectrum foundations.

Wear a hat to cover your face and long sleeves and pants to cover the rest of your skin. Avoid going out for prolonged periods of time between 10 am and 2 pm.

To make sure you are ready for the summer sun be sure to stop in the studio for a personal consultation so we can help you make sure you are covered.
